Dear Trolls Family,

Here is your membership application for the 2011-2012 season. We’re 
sending out information much earlier this year because we’re adding a pickup at 
AC Nielsen Tennis Center on Hibbard Rd in Winnetka for Trolls families who live 
east of Glenview. Our membership fee to cover the cost of adult chaperones is $75.

  To prevent the last minute rush we get every year with Trolls signups, we’re 
doing an early bird $50 membership for those who sign up by September 1st!! 

Please come in and sign up and check out our new fall/winter stock, or simply 
mail in your applications with check to Trolls if you prefer. 

Our weekly fee, which  covers the cost of lift tickets, ski and snowboard school 
tickets and bus fees, will be $65 per  Saturday (same as the past 5 seasons!). 
Tickets for the trips may be purchased at the shop in  lots of 5 initially, or 
individually as you wish. 

Unused tickets are refundable at the ski shop  once the program is 
completed after the first Saturday in March. We hopefully will be blessed with 
great snow, and able to extend the program further into March!

We’ll start our 47th Season of Trolls on Saturday, December 3rd. Dates for the 
2011-2012 Season are:
 
 Wilmot Mountain: Dec 3rd and 10th, January 7th and 28th, February 4th, 18th  & 25th
 
 Chestnut Mountain:  January 14th
 
 Alpine Valley:  December 17th, January 21st, February 11th and March 3rd

Please note that we’re not going on Xmas Eve or New Years Eve for family reasons. Also,
please note that we’re throwing in a trip to Chestnut right in the middle of the
schedule. 

The Chestnut trip will be 7:30 AM – 7 PM due to extra distance, but we’re absorbing the 
extra fees of this trip as appreciation to all our great Trolls families!  

Please purchase tickets in advance of the first trip, as kids are required to have a 
ticket to  board the bus. A great idea is to write your child’s name on the back of 
the ticket for faster  identification! We have 2 pickups this year : Lyons School in 
Glenview (SE corner of Waukegan Rd  and Lake Avenue) and AC Nielsen Tennis Center in 
Winnetka (on Hibbard Rd 2 blocks north of Willow Rd).

Trips other than Chestnut are from 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Please try to get your kids to the 
parking lot  by 7:15 AM and be on time at 5:00 PM for pickup.

Come in early to make sure everything is ready to go for safe skiing or boarding come 
December. You’ll find the staff at Scandinavian Ski Shop to be friendly, knowledgeable 
and helpful in making sure your kids’ skiing/boarding needs are taken care of. Also, in 
addition to doing a $25 membership discount till September 1st, we’re also doing a $25 
rental discount this yr till October 1st!
