Trolls Ski Club North Division

  Dear Troll Family:

  Enclosed, please find your membership application for the 2007-08 season.
  Please return this to Scandinavian Ski Shop 1621 Waukegan Road, Glenview
  Il. 60025 with a check payable to Trolls Ski Club, in the amount of $50.00
  for membership dues. The dues represent the cost of Motorcoach Transportation,
  and supervision. We will continue to provide 55 passenger Deluxe Motorcoaches,
  from Colonial Coach again this season! We realize that the bus trip is part of
  the adventure that is "Trolls", and trust that their larger, more deluxe buses
  will provide a more comfortable environment for our kids. Our experienced adult
  chaperones and myself are here to help. Please let us know what we can do to make
  your child's "Trolls" experience better!

  We will start our 43rd season of "Trolls", weather permitting, on Saturday, 
  December 1st, 2007. Ski dates for "Trolls" for the 2007-2008 season are as follows:

   Alpine Valley: Dec.1st, Dec.15th, and Dec.29th, Jan.12th, Jan.26th, Feb.9th
   Wilmot Moutain: Dec.8th, Dec.22nd, Jan.5th, Jan.19th, Feb.2nd, Feb.16th.
	 
  Please hold on to this newsletter, so you are aware of which area we're going to
  on a given week! The weekly fee is $60.00 per Saturday, and represents a payment 
  of lift tickets, ski/snowboard school tickets, supervision and the testing program 
  for Wilmot and Alpine's ski/snowboard school. 

 Please note that we've purposely kept the membership cost low to encourage more
    participation, as the bus fee is now incorporated into the weekly cost.

  Tickets may be purchased at the shop, in lots of 5 initially, or individually 
  as you wish. Any unused tickets are refundable at the ski shop from the end of the program until 
  April 15th, 2008.

  Lost tickets are the responsibility of the "Trolls" member, so members
  are strongly encouraged to write their name on the back of their tickets for easy 
  identification. Please purchase tickets in advance of the first trip, as members are 
  required to have a ticket to board the bus.
   
  We will have pick-up and drop-off at the Lyons School Parking lot (S.E. corner
  of Waukegan Road and Lake Ave.) The buses depart from Lyons School at 7:30 a.m.
  and return at 5:00 p.m. Parents are encouraged to be on time. Our Pickup School is located
  2 blocks South of our store.
  
  As each member is required to have his/her own equipment, now is the time to make
  sure everything is in proper condition for safe skiing, or boarding. The fit and
  comfort of the boots should be checked, as well as the condition of skis or 
  snowboard. You'll find the staff at Scandinavian Ski Shop to be very friendly,
  knowledgeable, and helpful in making sure your kids' equipment needs are handled
  properly. Rentals for the season are available at Scandinavian Ski Shop. Rentals
  are $175.00 for Junior sizes and $225.00 for adult sizes.
